Channeling A Cure

This summer, in honor of her mother Patricia, who lost her battle with pancreatic cancer 16 years ago, and for all those battling cancer, Rachel Griffin is taking on the challenge of swimming across the English Channel (minimum of 21 miles) on July 31st (or as close to that date as weather permits). For Rachel, this will complete her Triple Crown of swimming which includes the English Channel, Catalina Channel and Manhattan Island – a fete only 366 people swimmers have accomplished.
